Mustard Seeds, also known as "Eye of Newt", is a member of the Brassicaceae (mustard) family and are the dried seeds from various mustard plants. Native to the middle-east, southern Europe and southern Asia, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years. Mustard plants grow so easily they are considered to be an invasive weed in many places. In ancient Greece, they would use yellow mustard seeds to treat scorpion stings as well as a spice for cooking. Now, we use Mustard seeds for mostly culinary purposes and body care recipes. Modern witches use them for their magical properties such as; Success, Luck, Protection, Virility and aiding in love spells.
