Goldenrod also known as "Blue Mountain Tea", is a member of the Daisy family. It originated in north America and was used by the indigenous people for curing respiratory problems. It is now grown all over and some may even consider it a weed. It grows on the edges of open fields and meadows, enjoying sunny open areas.
