Mullein Leaf, also known as "Beggars Blanket", is a member of the Scrophulariaceae (Figwort family). Originating from Europe, this fuzzy plant was used in treating throat, breathing and skin ailments. The leaves were often smoked to sooth lung issues and respiratory problems. Today we use the leaves for making teas, oils and tinctures, while many enjoy smoking the leaves by themselves or making an herbal blend. Modern Witches use Mullein for its magical properties such as; warding off evil, getting rid of nightmares, courage, protection, health and love. It also helps in divinations and exorcisms.
